WHY USE THE EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE INVENTORY SURVEY?
Emotional and social intelligence makes the difference between a highly effective leader and an average one. The real benefit comes from the 360° view into the behaviors that differentiate outstanding from average performers which gives leaders a clear framework to transform the quality of feedback across the organization. It helps managers and professionals create a competitive advantage for their organizations by increasing performance, innovation and teamwork, ensuring time and resources are used effectively, and building motivation and trust.
Use the emotional and social competency inventory (ESCI) to:
- Measure emotional intelligence in your leaders and professionals
- Raise awareness through powerful feedback
- Focus your coaching and development on crucial capabilities
- Bring out the best in individuals and teams
ESCI COMPETENCY MEASUREMENT
The Emotional and Social Intelligence Competency Model contains 12 competencies and four quadrants. The results show participants how others experience their behavior in terms of the consistency with which they demonstrate the competencies.
- Emotional Self-awareness
- Emotional Self-control
- Achievement Orientation
- Positive Outlook
- Organizational Awareness
- Coach and Mentor
- Conflict Management
- Inspirational Leadership
THE ESCI PROCESS
Participants complete the surveys online and nominate who they would like to get feedback from. Once all feedback is received, the results are analyzed and presented in an individual feedback report with a verbatim section of the report where respondents comment on a participant’s key strengths and areas for development. For teams, a composite report is presented which shows a group profile against the competencies.
The ESCI results can only be delivered by a Korn Ferry Hay Group accredited coach.
